Christine M. Espinoza CRS, GRI, ABR
GETTING STARTED
Christine has been in real estate for 38 years! Well, she’s been licensed for over 15 years, but has grown up around contracts, open houses and Real Estate offices since she was born…as you see her sitting in her dad’s brief case at one year old! It was no surprise when Christine earned her real estate license and began selling homes right out of college in 1997. Charlie Stidham, former broker and owner of Scottsdale Luxury Properties, is Christine’s father and Real Estate Mentor. After working together as a father daughter team for four years, Christine built up the experience and clientele to branch off on her own, and has since established a successful real estate career. Selling over 250 homes in the first 4 years in the business meant working 12+ hour days, and gaining more experience than most Realtors who have been in the business three times as long.
After 14 years in the business, in 2011 Christine has transitioned from Scottsdale Luxury Properties to HomeSmart Real Estate Company and is a member of HomeSmart’s “Elite Group”. The “Elite Group” consists of just over 100 agents who have been invited to join a premier marketing group of full time professional Realtors that meet the qualifications of years in the business and annual sales. This group provides a tremendous value not only in regard to the limitless resources, but the networking opportunities with a group of high level professionals.
EDUCATION
Christine averages appx. 50 hours of real estate education a year..(licensees are only required to have 12 hours a year.) She has three real estate designations (CRS,ABR,GRI) which required not only a monetary investment in her career, but also a time commitment of a couple hundred hours! Always wanting to learn more, Christine even uses her alone time in the car to listen to her many books on CD on real estate, sales and networking….calling it her “Mobile University”! Studying marketing in college, she not only has an innovative and unique way of marketing herself, but also her listings and her buyers.
A designation earned by Christine in 2007 is the CNE (Certified Negotiation Expert). Growing up with a father who was a real estate broker, and 3 brothers and sisters, negotiating was always taking place at home! These courses helped fine tune Christine’s already powerful negotiating skills, which she will put to work for you.
Christine earned the CLHMS designation (Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist) in 2007. Being a member of this organization has enabled Christine to be on the cutting edge in terms of marketing luxury homes, and be a part of a national network of luxury home agents.
The most recent designation Christine has obtained is the CSSN (Certified Short Sale Negotiater) designation. Staying on top of current market trends is crutial, and know how to successsfully negotiate and close short sales is paramount in the current marketplace. Short sales provide a much better solution for homeowners who are facing foreclosure.
Currently Christine is working on completing her MCNE (Master Certified Negotiation Expert) designation. Negotiating is such an important skill for a real estate professional, and honing those skills has always been a top priority.
FAMILY
Treating clients as family isn’t just “words” when you take into consideration how important Christine’s family is to her. Christine is a mother of two beautiful boys, Dominic and Brody. Being a mother, Christine has a much deeper appreciation of how a “house” really becomes a “home”, and truly understands the importance of her clients time. Christine is always available by phone or e-mail to her clients even though she doesn’t schedule appointments on Sundays so she can spend time with her family. Family time is so important and Christine’s goal is to take the hassle and worry out of the way so her clients can enjoy their time with family and friends.
